Gift, Ministre de l'instruction publique et des beaux-arts en souvenir de la réception faite aux Universités françaises et au Collège de France, June 1906. In 1906 the University of London invited the University of Paris and other French universities to visit London. On their return, the Minister of Public Instruction sent this Sevres vase to the University. Sen. Min. 24 Oct. 1906.
