- Busk (1844-1926), a City solicitor, was the University of London's longest-serving Chairman of Convocation (1892-1922). Within this period he also served as Vice-Chancellor, 1905-1907, the only person ever to combine the two offices. Portrait signed top left and dated 1923. In gilt gesso frame.
