Typescript memoir of the service of M E Palmer, Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps and Army Signal Company, in France 1916-1918. Palmer enlisted through a Post Office scheme that enabled girls to join the Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps. After training she was attached to the Signals Company and posted to Warrior Square in Hastings. Her account describes vaccinations, ill-fitting uniform and work at Abbeyville in France.
