Hanging device: Gold coloured metal plaque painted with a coloured enamel depiction of a soldier on a white horse holding a red piece of cloth. A partially clothed figure is clutching at the red cloth on the ground. The plaque is framed by a gold coloured metal decorative foliage motif. Beneath the plaque is a gold coloured metal banner infilled with white enamel and bearing the text 'LODGE OF MERCY / No 6821'. There is an inscription on the reverse. Pin: Vertical.
