Crudely glazed off-white pottery, with blue pattern and writing; top section of jug with cut out flower pattern; top edge rounded, with 3 broken off spouts round edge, with hole in centre; round base written : "Here Gentlemen come try yr skill I'll hold a wager if you will That you Don't Drink this Liqr all Without you spill or lett some fall" Glaze broken off in some places; base marked "W.W. 1738".
