Many tourists came to Torbay in the early 20th century. In response, several South Devon potteries designed ranges of ceramics to cater for them. Decorations often included rural cottage scenes or nautical pictures as you can see on this cheese dish from the Longpark Pottery in Torquay. This object is not on display. Inscription below handle incised CHEESE
