Gold coloured metal Eastern crown mounted on a triangle, which is on a sunburst. This is framed within a matt roundel with polished borders. There is a hanging loop at the top and an inscription on the reverse.

The First Principal of a Royal Arch Chapter is known as 'Zerubbabel' and for this reason many Past First Principal's jewels refer to 'PZ' for ‘Past Zerubbabel’ or 'MEZ' for Most Excellent Zerubbabel.
