Top bar: Copper coloured metal bar engraved with the text 'FOUNDER'. Ribbon: Ribbed silk with three vertical stripes of dark green, burgundy and light blue. There is a thin white stripe down the centre of the burgundy and light blue stripes. Ribbon device: Copper coloured metal Senior Warden's device, being a level. Hanging device: Uppingham School coat of arms, consisting of a copper coloured metal oval with pointed ends with a relief depiction of a male figure who is seated behind a ?writing desk that has quills and an open book on it. In front of him to the left are six figures who are standing holding ?scrolls. At the bottom is a pavement with raised dots. There is a border with text in relief reading 'IN OKEHAM ET VPPINGHAM IN COM RVTL SIG COM GVBER SCHOLAR ET HOSPICIORVM'. Pin: Horizontal.
