Seen by D.L. Jones, Assistant Keeper of Human History, Ipswich Museums on 4.5.1978 and identified as an iron staff of the Ibo tribe of southern Nigeria. The insignia shows a junior grade in the Ozo title society. The item may be from the Crosse collection
