- Brief description:
- Bronze medal. The obverse is infilled with gold and brown enamel. Central to the design is a set square and compass encircling a letter 'G' upon a geometric shape mounted onto a square border. Encircling the central design is a border bearing relief text reading 'FREEMASONRY THE RIGHT COURSE FOR LIFE'S JOURNEY / DEAN D. REIN MOST WORSHIPFUL GRAND MASTER 2007'. On the reverse central to the design is a relief depiction of two columns joined by an ached with a keystone at the centre. Beneath the arch is a chequered pavement upon which is a Volume of Sacred Law and a sword surmounted by a set square and compass enclosing a letter 'G'. Masonic symbols partially encircling the central archway, consisting of relief depictions of two crossed keys, a plumn rule, a crescent moon, an All-seeing eye with rays, a sun, a level and a beehive. Encircling the central design is a relief border bearing a relief banner containing the latin text 'SIT LUX ET LUX FUIT' (see notes below) further relief text reads 'GRAND LODGE / OF UTAH / A.L. 5872'. An additional border circles the central design with relief text reading 'CELEBRATING 135 YEARS OF UTAH FREEMASONRY 1872-2007'.
