Top bar: Gold coloured metal arched bar bearing the text 'VICESIMUS PRIMUS'. Ribbon: Ribbed silk in dark red. Ribbon device: Gold plated silver shaped plaque painted with a coloured enamel depiction of the Grange Manor House, Whetstone. The plaque is mounted onto three sceptre's each bearing an All-seeing eye, a Bishop's mitre and an Eastern crown. Bottom bar: Gold coloured metal bar bearing the text 'M. E. Z. 1949-50'. Below the bar is a pierced gold coloured metal foliage motif. Hanging device: Eastern crown in gold coloured metal and with coloured enamel on a triangle in gold coloured metal infilled with red enamel and on a sunburst in gold coloured metal. The design is framed within a gold coloured metal border bearing the text 'THE GRANGE / CHAPTER / No 4784'. There is a presentation inscription on the reverse. Pin: Vertical.
