- Apron (undress) for a Past Provincial Grand Organist for Essex.

- Cream leather apron with blue silk border (now faded) with blue silk backing. On the front the apron has a triangular flap, also in cream leather with a wide dark blue border. The flap has two tassels in dark blue silk, ended with gold bullion. There is one level of gold purl on the triangular flap. Two levels of gold purl are sewn to the front of the apron. At the centre of the apron is sewn a cream leather roundel. At the centre of the roundel is the device of a grand organist, being a lyre embroidered in dark blue silk. Framing the device is a wreath of wheat and acacia embroidered in dark blue, with text above reading 'ESSEX' also embroidered in dark blue, within a double border of embroidered dark blue. The apron has a belt of blue silk with a metal prong buckle.
