- St. Paul's Lodge, No. 43 is one of a small number to have a non-standard centenary jewel. Prior to the mid 1860s lodges produced unofficial jewels for centenaries and those with existing jewels were allowed to continue them as a concession when a standard form was made compulsory. Centenaries are awarded for 100 years consistent service, which is why some Lodges have their centenary more than 100 years after they were founded.
