He was Director of the Ffotogallery in Cardiff and editor of 'Ffotoview', 1982-83, and taught part-time at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, 1986-96. In 1988 he studied with the Italian photographer Roberto Salbitani (b.1945) and in 1993 undertook a residency at St.David's Hall, Cardiff. He lives and works in Cardiff where he produces large photo-paintings which explore the human figure and both urban and natural landscapes
