Top bar: Matt gold plated silver bar with text in relief reading 'ESTB.1765', within a polished trim. Ribbon: Ribbed and watered silk in light blue. Ribbon device: Matt gold plated silver bar in the form of a horizontal column, with text in relief reading '1765 / 1965'. At the centre is text reading “CC” infilled with dark blue enamel. Hanging device: Image of St. George on horseback slaying the dragon, in gold plated silver and relief. It is framed within a ring of gold plated silver, with text in polished relief reading 'ST. GEORGE'S LODGE No. 140 / CENTENARY', within a polished trim. Surmounting the device is a set square and compass in gold plated silver with foliage design. Pin: Vertical.

Comments:
St. George's Lodge is one of a small number to have a non-standard centenary jewel. Prior to the mid 1860s lodges produced unofficial jewels for centenaries and those with existing jewels were allowed to continue them as a concession when a standard form was made compulsory.
