Hat badge, Punjab Light Horse, 1893-1947. Embroidered badge with the unit initials, ‘PLH’, in white on black cloth. The Punjab Light Horse was raised in 1867 as part of the Cavalry Reserve of the British Indian Army. Based in Lahore the unit was disbanded after India gained independence in 1947.
