Brief description:
Sealed pattern samples of drummers’ lace bound in a book for the Grenadier Guards, sealed in 1859. They were discontinued and became obsolete from 9 February 1965. A ‘sealed pattern’ is a master pattern of any item that the British Army issued to soldiers. It provided clothing or equipment suppliers with an example to copy.
