Brief description:
Territorial Army Pool of Public Information Officers patch, 1994 (c). The Territorial Army Pool of Public Information Officers was established after the Falklands War to provide escorts for civilian journalists reporting on Army operations. The experience of some journalists in Bosnia during the mid 1990s, led to criticism and ultimately reorganisation into the Media Operations Group (Volunteer). Their role is now performed by 77th Brigade.
