Cap badge, Tochi Scouts, 1922. Star and crescent over round shield on crossed curved knives behind. The Tochi Scouts operated in North Waziristan, with their headquarters at Miranshah. They were part of the Frontier Corps, formed in 1907, which consisted of a number of scout units stationed in the tribal territories. From the Field Marshal Sir John Chapple Indian Army Collection.
