Photocopy of a type-written letter on "Little Sparta" headed paper from Ian Hamilton Finlay to Douglas Hall, Keeper, Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art; Colin Thompson, Director, National Galleries of Scotland; and Professor Anthony Jones, Director, Glasgow School of Art. The letter is dated 28.6.83 and chastises these representatives and their organisations for their silence over Strathclyde Regional Council's handling of the dispute over Little Sparta's business rates and the consequent removal of art works in lieu of payment.
