Brief description:
Silver watch holder with oval portrait painted in colour enamels of Hugh de Grey Seymour, Marquess of Hertford. He is wearing the regalia of the Provincial Grand Master of Warwickshire apron, chain and jewel and gauntlet cuffs and holding a maul in his right hand. He is also wearing a patent hanger with a number of jewels including a centenary jewel for Apollo Lodge, No. 201, a past master's jewel for the same lodge, a past master's jewel for United Lodge, No. 1629, a founder's jewel for Household Brigade Lodge, No. 2614, a member's jewel for Royal Alpha Lodge, No. 16, a chairman's jewel for the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution 1886 festival, a Royal Arch member's jewel and a commemorative jewel for Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee, 1887.
