- A small green tin box which contains two black plastic ear plugs and a thin black plastic cleaning stick. Small paper adverts are stuck to both the outside and inside of the lid. These plugs were designed to protect men in the field who were involved in the firing of machine artillery. Along with the tin is a thin paper Mallock-Armstrong advertising and instruction sheet.
