Object history note:
Fejer, an architect by training, practised in this country as a product designer, working for many of the largest manufacturers in Britain. The Plastics section at the Festival of Britain 1951 was intended to explain to the public how plastics were made and their many uses. He also designed a similar section for the Rubber Industry. Fejer was a pioneer designer of the fitted kitchen, working for Wrighton Ltd, Hygena Ltd, and other manufacturers.
