Brief description:
Partly moulded and hand-modelled terracotta figures of a woman dressing another's hair. The woman whose hair is being dressed is sitting with a child at her breast. A mould has been used for the faces and the rest has been hand-modelled. White mica has been applied to the figures as a ground, over which a black pigment has been used to outline and accentuate the figures' details. Such figures are often sold in a mela (fair) as a toy.
