Brief description:
This slide was made by Dr William Bolderston who was described as a ‘Modern Language Master’ on the 1911 census. He lived in Exeter where he was a member of the Royal Albert Memorial College Field Club, and he travelled around Europe where he took photographs and made them into magic lantern slides like this. This slide is from a group of images of a tour around Norway. This object is not on display. Inscription edges handwritten Handwritten '193A'[? - partly illegible] on top edge binding strip. front (on top of cover glass) handwritten Handwritten 'PYROLA ROTUNDIFOLIA 1938' on top edge binding strip. front (under cover glass) printed Printed 'W.N. Bolderston' on label on lower part of mount.
