The shield is surmounted by a gold elephant and castle. Bottom bar: Gold inverted trapezium. Hanging device: Gold set square, engraved with foliage, from which is suspended the 47th proposition of Euclid. There is a presentation inscription on the reverse. Pin: Vertical
