Brief description:
A bronze coin that was struck to commemorate the coronation of Edward VII and distributed to the school children of Port Sunlight. The coin has a raised effigy of King Edward and Queen Alexandra on the obverse, and an image of the Port Sunlight school with the words '26th June 1902 Port Sunlight Schools' embossed around it on the reverse. The coins where presented at a coronation day celebration in Gladstone Hall, and the children also received tins of Cadburys chocolate.
