Brief description:
Small copper plate engraved, 'Richard Fitzwilliam' with arms and motto of the Viscounts Fitzwilliam: Lozengy argent and gules surmounted by a crown holding ten ostrich feathers, with ostrich supporters to either side, each holding horseshoes in their beaks. Head of Hermes wearing winged helmet in scrolling border below with motto on scrolls to left and right: 'DEO ADJUVENTE / NON TIMENDUM' (God assist us, nothing is to be feared), the whole within a border of classical columns, scrollwork and entwined foliage.
