Brief description:
Pair of gauntlets in light blue watered silk with silver lace edging and silver fringe, backed with light blue silk. On one side is sewn a roundel of light blue watered silk. At the centre of the roundel is the device of a Junior Warden, being a plumb rule, in silver purl. Framing the device is a double border of silver purl enclosing text reading 'LONDON COUNTY COUNCIL LO: / 2603' in silver purl.

Comments:
London County Council Lodge, No. 2603 was founded by members of the London County Council and its membership was restricted to those who served in a public capacity (city councillors, mayors, etc.). It would become the Greater London Council Lodge and, in 1986, it was changed to the Greater London Lodge with the abolition of the GLC.
