Top bar: Gold plated silver bar with engraved decorative floral design. Ribbon: Ribbed and watered silk in light blue. Ribbon device: Crossed flags in gold plated silver and enamel, the flag on the left being the white ensign of the Royal Navy and the flag on the right the Union flag of Great Britain. Above the flags are a set square and compass, below an anchor. The whole is framed within a roundel in gold plated silver and infilled with dark blue enamel with text reading 'ARMY & NAVY LODGE No. 3651', completed by a Royal crown at the top. Hanging device: Gold plated silver set square with a measuring rule design on the left and an engraved wheat and sickle design. Below is suspended the 47th proposition of Euclid and there is a presentation inscription on reverse. Pin: Vertical.
