Brief description:
Waistbelt clasp, Grenadier Guards, pre-1901. Male part of clasp is brass with Queen Victoria's cypher, ‘VR, in white metal on fused grenade. Female part is brass with white metal circlet bearing the title, ‘Grenadier Guards’. Both halves have decorative foliage on the belt fixings. From a folio of buckles and badges, British Army and Indian Army including Militia and Territorial Army.
