Brief description:
Invitation to a meeting to discuss ways of helping the Childbirth Research Centre. The invitation is printed in black on a card with rounded edges. At the top it has the Rugby crest and the motto 'Floreat Rugbia'. It reads: 'The Worshipful the Mayor of Rugby (Councillor Mrs. Pamela M. Hill) requests the pleasure of the company of yourself and friends at a meeting to be held in the Rokeby Room, Town Hall, Rugby, on Wednesday, 8th December, 1971 at 3.00pm to discuss ways and means of helping the work of the Childbirth Research Centre. Speakers: Mr. G.C. Maris, General Secretary, Childbirth Research Centre, Mr. J. R. Owen, MA, MB, B. Chair., D.Obst. RCOG, MMSA, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, The Rugby Hospitals.
