Brief description:
Laurence Shepheard Harley - joined Mullard in 1924 and began a career as a valve engineer 1921-1946. During WW2 in Air Ministry and Ministry of Aircraft Production as Deputy Director R&D (of radar) then Deputy Director of Radio Production. Died 5th November 1983 at home in Stoke by Nayland. His wife Shela Gwendoline Harley (nee Tinson) died March 1996 and passed papers to Chloe Curtis and then passed to Nicky Morland.
