Pouch badge, Punjab Light Horse, 1901-1947. Gilt badge with a crown over the monogram, ‘PLH’, in an elaborate script. The Punjab Light Horse, formed in 1867, was part of the Cavalry Reserve of the British Indian Army, with its headquarters in Lahore. The unit was disbanded following India’s independence.
