Brief description:
In 1862 the architectural competition to design a memorial for Prince Albert in Exeter attracted 24 entries. This is John Hayward’s final design. The plan shows a lot more than museum galleries. It also included classrooms, offices, a library and a reading room. This object is on display at RAMM in the Case Histories gallery.
