Brief description:
2 (National Communications) Signal Brigade, 1992-2012. Established in 1968 as 2nd Signal Group (Static Communications Network) was responsible for strategic communications and early warning systems. It was deployed during the First Gulf War (190-91) and renamed 2 (National Communications) Signal Brigade in 1992. Following a reduction in the number of Territorial Army signal regiments which formed the main art of this Brigade, it was disbanded in 2012.
