- Brief description:
- Colour photograph of a clothing pin which was found at the Roman site of Tripontium on the A5 near Rugby. The site was excavated by independent archaeologists from the Rugby Archaeological Society under the direction of Jack Lucus who donated the image. The pin has a decorated end and is bent at the point, this was possibly to help it stay in the wearer's clothes. It was probably used to secure a cloak. The pin itself can be seen in Rugby Museum.
