- Thursday 26th April Hackney NALGO 24 House Official Strike 2nd May 1990 The following motion was carried at the branch meeting held today "This re-convened Brnach Meeting notes with disgust that Andy Murphy is still under punitive suspension by Hackney Council because of his political views. We resolve to call a 24hr strike on Wednesday 2 May 1990 as the start of a campaign to secure Andy Murphy
