Brass sectarial stamp representing 'chakra' or discus normally applied to imprint auspicious symbols on the bodies of the devotees using either sandalwood paste or 'gopichandan', a chalky clay paste. 'Chakra' is an attribute of Vishnu. The followers of Chaitanya imprint invocations to Vishnu and other auspicious symbols on their bodies as a part of their daily rituals.
