Comments:
Finish freemasonry began in Sweden in 1756 when a lodge was founded in Stockholm. This lodge later moved to Turku, Finland but still conducted rituals in Swedish. After the war against Russia in 1809 freemasonry in Finland stopped until their independence in 1917. The first Finish lodge (Suomi Loosi, No. 1) was founded in 1922. The Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons was the first Grand Lodge to be formed in Finland in 1924 and works under the Swedish Rite. 'It will be done' is the motto of Finish Freemasonry.
