Gold plated silver metal oval shaped jewel, at the centre of which is a panel of translucent, dark blue glass and the device of a Past District Grand Superintendant of Works, being a gold plated silver metal semi-circular protractor. Around the panel the metal is matt with text in relief reading 'BOMBAY'. There is a hanging loop at the top.
