Large horn on very ornate silver plated stand; horn held by dragon with tail curling round horn; dragon's eyes, and round base set with coloured stones; horn lined with silver plate; ornate brass lid on top of horn with 2 cherubs at apex; designed by Sir Goscombe John (Art Nouveau influence on nude female figures and swirling lines round figures and stones); for a wedding present to Sir Isambard Owen, then Deputy Chancellor of the University of Wales.
