Brief description:
Collar: Dark blue silk collar with gold braid edging. A double line of gold braid runs down the front of the collar, which frames at the centre a roundel in woven gold with a chequerboard design. Jewel: Dark blue iridescent enamel oval mounted with a gold coloured metal set square, which has the 47th proposition of Euclid suspended below. This is within an oval band of matt gold coloured metal that has polished borders and text in relief reading 'LONDON'. There is a hanging loop at the top.
