- GWR driver log book, February 1948 - September 1948; belonged to Fearnley Hext who was a driver at Newton Abbot. Note on front of log book says 'son was 12 years'. The contents of the log book was used to write two articles entitled 'Branch Goods Trains from Newton Abbot: An Engineman's Records of the Postwar Era' for the Great Western Railway Journal (no.84 Autumn 2012 & no.85 Winter 2013).
