Details of the exhibition "James McBey - A Centenary Portrait", which was being shown from 6 - 27 August, are given, along with details of "James McBey's Venice", a display of McBey's work from the permanent collection being show in the McBey print room during August, September and October. This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this publication.
