- H. J. May’s watercolour on paper with pencil detail depicts Paul Street from one of the upper Museum Windows in Exeter (1926). May’s drawing was undertaken when he was a student at the Art School which was then housed within the Royal Albert Memorial Museum. The study observes scale and architectural detail, and portrays the scene with muted colour. This object is not on display.
