Brief description:
This jaw bone is the first fossil recorded in RAMM’s fossil register (it has the accession number Fos1). Hyena made a den in Kent’s Cavern. They were scavengers but also hunted in packs and could drag baby mammoth back to the caves. This object is not on display.
