Order of Proceedings for the presentation of Honorary Freedom of the Borough of Rugby to Alderman Peter Aubrey Batt 19th February 1974 at the Town Hall. It contains a biography - he was president of Rugby District Scout Council, served on the board of many local schools. He was mayor 1959/60 being the youngest ever at that time, also the first member of the Round Table organisation ever to be elected mayor, as members retire from it aged 40. In 1944 he married Jean M Rigby and they had three sons.
