- Gold lamé suit worn by Marc Bolan, made by Granny Takes a Trip, ca. 1972. Marc Bolan wore the suit jacket during the recording of the LP Tanx, in August 1972. The boutique, Granny Takes a Trip, founded by John Pearse, Sheila Cohen and Nigel Waymouth, opened in the King's Road, Chelsea, in 1966. It closed in 1974, but the name was acquired by Byron Hector and it continued to operate from new King's Road premises until 1979.
