Brief description:
A handwritten letter by Sir William Hesketh Lever to Mr John Gray dated 'Port Sunlight Cheshire March 26th 1914. The letter concerns the visit of the King and Queen to Port Sunlight which had taken place the day before. Mr John Gray was the former manager of the Port Sunlight works and later vice-chairman of Lever Brothers. The paper is discoloured and torn in several places. Donated by The Bromborough Society, and possibly deposited in their archive by its former President Freda Viscountess Leverhulme.
